A nice feature that would be appreciated by me and many others is an output for the G15 LCD Screen. Some of the minor things I wouldn't mind seeing is my dps maybe some countdown timers on clickies/aa's combined with teamspeak combination that shows who's talking.

Is it possible for the dps stats to post in group right after each fight. A friend of mine has a dps parser that does and he said it happens with a clipboard.
If EQC can do this could you explain to me how to do it. I would appreciate it.

Has there been a new download for the beta? I have .799 (build 1617) and have been using it happily, since July.

I tried the download link on the main site, but it always gives me a corrupted zip file.

799 Beta - Parsing / Sorting

1. Suggestion / Feature Request

As posted elsewhere, I really love the auto-insert-to-clipboard feature. Suggestion: Add a button to do it manually as well. Reason: Often we do things like parse the entire clearing of all the trash, or an entire event across multiple mobs. The Combine button works for that, but then I'd like to be able to insert it into the clipboard for pasting to the game.

Hiya! Great program, and I really love the new auto-parse, auto-insert-to-clipboard feature. We have been using it on raids. I changed the template to

{Name} {Dmg} /

and the pre-string to

/rs

Works like a charm.

However, I have a comment on one change in 799 beta I don't like from the prev version I was using (I think 796).

In the older version I had a trigger set up to tell me how many times a particular AE spell would land, so I could easily tell....

Hello, I play a 65 shaman on the Shards of Dalaya EQemu server. I'm interested in parsing my DoT damage, but I can't figure out how to manipulate EQ Companion to recognize the damage from my DoTs. I've looked around the forums and googled this subject and can only guess it requires manipulating the weapon proc file. Would someone please assist me?

I have enabled html for my board as well as check off the disable html in this post button. When I try to patste the source into my post, it just comes up all jumbled with the HTML, it doesnt show the coloums, and colors, just text. I am using versiion.799 beta, and I can not click on the BBC for that option to be used. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Command line logfile passing

It would be a nice addition if a log file could be passed as an argument on the command line. I've written a program that will launch other parsers from within it passing a log filename. EQCompanion does not seem to support this. YALP does though.

ex (from a command prompt):
eqcompanion.exe eqlog_mytoon_myserver.txt

Just use argc and argv from the main function. Thanks. =)

First: your program rocks, and the fact that you are still looking to update it/communicate is most appreciated.

My request is, I hope, a 'simple' one.

I parse most of my guild's fights. At the moment, after most fights, I have sort a list by DPS or total damage, and then manually type out each person's name , name , etc...

Would it be possible to set up a way to copy a list to the clipboard that consists of just...

I can't get spell damage to show up. It's in my logs, but doesn't show up when I run EQ companion. Any suggestions?

What are the chances of seeing something like this break out of the EQ-specific world and become functional for newer games like Vanguard? If the parser were configurable by patterns, perhaps the usefulness would become more dynamic.

Great program. I miss using it, since I no longer play EQ.

A few of the languages are different than the actual EQ language, so a skill up in that language results in an unknown skill, not a language skill.
